About us
Who we are
A community built on hope, authenticity, and the love of Jesus — right in the heart of Edinburgh.

Our community
You belong here
We are C3 Edinburgh, a community built on hope, authenticity, and the love of Jesus. Whether you've grown up here or just arrived for work, study, or adventure, you belong.
You're welcome to join us on Sundays and in connect groups during the week. There's a place for you here, and we can't wait to meet you.

Our mission
“A church equipping people to discover and experience the truth of God's love.”
When He was working and ministering in the Middle East 2,000 years ago, Jesus blessed people with His kindness, served them with humility, healed them of their illnesses, and brought them good news about a loving God and the way to everlasting life. It's our desire, and our highest hope and privilege, to follow His example as we minister to the people of Edinburgh.
Our values
What shapes us
Authentic Community
Real friendship, not surface-level small talk. We do life together — the celebrations and the hard weeks.
Hope
We believe the best is ahead, for every person and for this city, because of who God is.
Presence
More than meetings and programmes, we want to genuinely encounter God when we gather.
Humility
We'd rather serve than be seen. We hold our plans lightly and people highly.
Radical Generosity
As our Heavenly Father is generous, so we endeavour to be — with our time, our resources and our welcome.
Creativity
We serve a creative God, so we make things with care — from Sunday mornings to everything in between.

Our pastors
Struan & Abigail Wardlaw
Pastors Struan and Abigail Wardlaw moved from London to Edinburgh in 2015 to be part of the founding team of C3 Edinburgh. Struan is Australian, Abi is from Surrey, and together with their daughter Maddie they call this city home.
Wise, funny, down to earth, prophetic and social justice minded — they lead with a simple conviction: church should feel like family. On any given Sunday you'll find them by the coffee, and they'd genuinely love to meet you.
Say helloC3 Church Global
Part of a global family
As C3 Edinburgh we are based locally but are part of an incredible global family! C3 Church Global is an international movement of churches: Christ-centred, Spirit-powered and connect-driven. We want people to know Jesus in a fresh, personal way; to have a real-time connection with God. We are a hospitable people — generous and fun and full of life — and we are committed to healthy and growing churches around the world.
Our movement is committed to healthy relationships and connection between ministers and churches. As an international family, anyone is able to walk into any of our C3 churches around the world and know they're home. We are united with Christ in His vision, and therefore our mission, to save the lost, make disciples and build His church.

Phil & Chris Pringle — Founders
With a passion for Jesus and a desire to see this world won for Christ, Phil and Chris Pringle came to Sydney in 1980 to start a church. With just 13 people attending an Easter service, Christian Centre Northside began, and the C3 Church movement as we now know it was birthed. In four years, the church grew to over 400 members and soon began planting campuses within Sydney, quickly expanding across Australia and around the world.
Phil is passionate about building faith-filled, anointed churches that are motivated to reach the lost and make disciples. Mama Chris, as she is affectionately known, brings life, revelation, healing and joy. Everyone who experiences her ministry will find themselves inspired, encouraged and changed.
Statement of beliefs
There is one God: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit
We believe that there is one God, eternally existing as three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in God the Father, the Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, all things visible and invisible.
We believe that God the Son, Jesus Christ, is Lord. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His victorious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His constant intercession for His people and in His imminent return and everlasting reign.
We believe in God, the Holy Spirit, who is God's presence and power on the earth. He reveals Christ to people. He inhabits and transforms the lives of believers. We believe in His ongoing role to empower the Christian life.
We believe in the existence of an unseen spiritual realm and beings, including the great enemy of God and man, Satan, who led a rebellion against God and wars against Him and mankind to this day. We believe Christ has triumphed over darkness and this victory will be seen into eternity.
We believe that on account of sin, all people are spiritually lost and in need of salvation, which God gives by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. We affirm the resurrection of the dead, both the saved and the lost, the first to everlasting life and the latter to everlasting separation from God.
We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God, living and active. It is God's revelation to humanity, inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is authoritative, timeless truth and is the foundation of all Christian doctrine.
We believe that Christian marriage was established by God, confirmed by Jesus, and is between a man and a woman. We believe that sex is a gift from God designed for intimacy and procreation within marriage.
We believe that the church is the body of Christ. We believe that God's people are to regularly gather to worship, to pray, to receive teaching from the Word of God and Communion.
We are a Pentecostal movement. We believe in the operation of spiritual gifts, which are given to believers for the upbuilding of the church. This includes the gift of tongues. We believe that all Christians can expect to be baptised in the Holy Spirit and can experience being filled with the Holy Spirit on innumerable occasions.
